D-1 and V-1 have been identified and located (Desoto County). V-1 has been impounded and D-1 has been arrested and charged with one count of leaving the scene of a crash involving death.
After further investigation, investigators have determined that the vehicle involved in the hit & run on December 31, 2023 was a 2002-2007 gray/silver Jeep Liberty.
The Nissan Murano vehicle and driver are NOW considered a VEHICLE/PERSON of Interest.

The Vehicle Homicide Unit is seeking the public’s assistance with locating the vehicle pictured below. This vehicle (NOW A VEHICLE/PERSON OF INTEREST) was possibly involved in a Hit & Run crash that occurred on December 31, 2023, at approximately 9:15 p.m. at the intersection of 10th Avenue North and Walker Avenue, Greenacres.
